The big blue Monster!

In class we have been learning about poems, and how to write one. This is my free verse poem about the big blue sea monster, also known as the horrifing wave! This poem is called a free verse poem because you can use what ever you want in the poem, there is also no rules to follow.

  1. Hi Rose,
Wow! You keep surprising me every time I go onto your blog! I love how you have the most AWESOME similes ever! What is your favourite line in you poem? Mine would have to be about how your talking about how the waves crashed like two reckless drivers! How did you feel once you finished your first free verse poem? Keep painting pictures in peoples minds just like you have in mine. This would have to be the best free verse poem I've ever seen in 2014!

  2. Hi Carleece,
Thanks for the compliment, you always make me feel special with them! ^.^ I would have to say, my favourite line in the poem is the same as yours, how I said when the waves crashed like two reckless drivers. When I finished my free verse poem, I felt proud of myself, because it was my first time making a free verse poem, and I used all the things in the success criteria. That's how I knew I was successful, and that I had a great free verse poem. And yes, I will keep painting pictures in peoples minds.
Thank you Carleece, I think your free verse poem is the best I've seen too!! You're a really thoughtful person Carleece, you're compliments always make me get the tears of happiness.

    Kind Reguards,
    Rose

  3. Hi Rose,
I really liked how you described how bad the wave is. I also liked the word sea monster. It really explains how scary it is. Well done.
